Vybz 96.3 FM is
a community radio station, owned and
operated by The Westmoreland
Broadcasting Service Limited,
located at 93a Great George Street,
Savanna-la-Mar, Westmoreland,
Jamaica. Our coverage are includes;
Westmoreland, St. Elizabeth
andHanover.
Our missions are to promote growth
in the communities to which we
broadcast, by educating,
entertaining and providing
information for our listeners. In
keeping with our missions, we are
conducting a series of community
events, one of which is our first
Talent and Awareness Pageant, to be
held on April 25, 2008, at Manning's
High School in the parish of
Westmoreland.
This competition seeks to promote
young ladies of Western Jamaica, by
giving them the opportunity to
express themselves. There are 12
contestants in the pageant, drawn
from communities in Westmoreland and
St. Elizabeth.
The sashing of the contestants was
held at CRM Sports Entertainment
Center, Farm Pen Road,
Savanna-la-Mar, on Saturday March
15, 2008 and it was a success. The
individual sponsors and the audience
were very impressed with the young
ladies' ability.
