As the political landscape continues to heat up, People’s National Party (PNP) President, Portia Simpson Miller, has been making the rounds to stir up grass roots support for her party in a series of constituency conferences
Speaking to a huge audience at the Manning’s High School in Savanna-la-Mar last Sunday at the PNP Women’s Movement 35th Annual Conference, the confident sounding party leader said that an important aspect of moving forward was the rebuilding of the party.

However, J-Hawks’ and Mannings schoolboy Richard Chambers kept his team close just in time to even up the scoring 16-16 before the end of the first term.
