Westmoreland- Rohan Tulloch, a 43-year-old farmer/construction worker of Bethel Town, Westmoreland yesterday died from stab wounds allegedly inflicted by the mother of his 18-month-old son.
According to information obtained by the Observer West, the 21 year-old mother of Tulloch’s son, a hotel worker, allegedly stabbed him after he attacked her.
The attack, which according to Observer West sources, was inspired by a fit of jealous rage, constituted the third for the day against the
child’s mother.

A Westmoreland family is in total grief after waking up on Tuesday morning to the realization that their precious bundles of joy were no longer with them. Twins Alwayne and Allyah Miller, who would have been three months old on March 17, died in their sleep the mother said.
“This is a real loss; they made us so happy and now they are gone,” the children’s mother, Manya Birthright said, at the family home in Grange Hill.
She told the Western Mirror that the twins went to bed at about nine o’clock on Monday and up to that point, according to her, they were in good health, having been taken to the clinic for a check up a few days ago.

The Cokes View Primary School in Westmoreland yesteday received a timely gift of computers and other school supplies courtesy of one of its past students, Dr Rupert Rhodd, Associate Professor of Economics at the Florida Atlantic University (FAU) and his colleague, Dr Sandra Schrouder, Public Administration Lecturer at FAU.
The gift, a personal contribution from the two, included five Dell Flat
Screen Computers, one combination Printer/Scanner/Copier, ten Flash Sticks; two Surge Protectors and one external CD/DVD Rom Drive, pens, pencils, erasers, chalk, exercise, colouring and reading books plus a variety of balls for playing.
