Record breaking Triple Olympic Gold Medalist Usain Bolt was involved in a motor vehicle accident a short while ago. Gosavlamar.com understands that the motor vehicle he was driving ran off the road into a ditch and overturned along Highway 2000 in the vicinity of Vineyard Toll Plaza.
He was rushed to the Spanish Town Hospital, however I don’t think his condition is serious.
His next meet is scheduled for the Jamaica International Invitational Meet in Kingston this weekend.
Wishing all the best for a speedy recovery for Usain Bolt

Rivoli United rallied from a goal down to sink Reno of Westmoreland 2-1 in Sunday’s third round Digicel Premier League match at the Frome Sports Complex, thanks to a Devon Hodges 90th minute stunner, to break the hearts of Reno fans who were praying for a win.
The loss was a hard pill to swallow as Reno dominated play for the majority of the match behind a series of well thought-out plays in midfield from Kenroy Hutchinson and company.
But when Fidel Anderson’s powerful 25 yard pile driver from a free kick sailed into the back of the net, Reno’s hope of finally pulling off a victory began to evaporate, much like their intent in the last five minutes of the game.

History was created last night in Jamaica when Stephen Fray, a gunman in his twenties from Montego Bay who is said to be of unsound mind hijacked a Canadian chartered flight, which was preparing for takeoff at the Sangster’s International Airport.
At about 11:00pm the gunman boarded the CANJET with 169 passengers and 8 crew members on board and held them in a hostage situation until 6:40am today when members of the Jamaica Defense Force Counter Terrorism Operations Group entered the cabin of the aircraft and effected a tactical resolution authorized by the incident commando and in the process disarmed and arrested him, while rescuing the other hostages on board.
It was reported that Fray used the staff entrance to the airport posing as a member of the airport’s security team using fake identification cards to breach the system. The gunman proceeded to rob the passengers for about half an hour before some of them were released.
Speculations are that sources at the airport stated that Fray appeared to be of Latin American descent and was requesting to be taken to Cuba.

However, the Westmoreland crime chief, Acting Deputy Superintendent Paul Simms says ongoing investigations have been severely handicapped by the absence of witnesses. He further explained that the cops had to rely on ‘scientific evidence’, but so far there has been no DNA match for the 15 suspects held over the past four years.
The victims, aged eight and nine respectively, attended the Town Head Primary School in the parish prior to the incident.
They were found in a canefield a day after they went missing.
