Godfrey Stewart High vs. Petersfield High School DaCosta Cup match yesterday held at the Godfrey Stewart playfield on Lewis Street end on a draw.
Both team tussled throughout the match with Godfrey Stewart making numerous attempts to score while the Petersfield guys was doing more defending than attacking.
Both teams now have two points from two draw matches. Next match will be held at Manning’s High School on Saturday Sept, 27 – Manning’s vs. Godfrey Stewart

Godfrey Stewart High School is now in a phase of tranformation and the students here are of great ability. Over the past year Godfrey Stewart had progress into something to yearn for, a school in which we can feel safe and a clean environment in which we can express ourselves.
“I HAVE A DREAM” that oneday Godfrey Stewart high school will become the best high school in Westmoreland and then Jamaica. I am proud to be a student of Godfrey Stewart High School. The new Principal Mr. Fearon had change the school into something to yearn for. Later their would be many parents who will want to send their children to Godfrey Stewart High School.

As a pasr graduate of what was then Sav Junior Sec. I was one of the students that was groomed by Principal Godfrey Stewart. I am proud to say that I am a Professional (Nurse Practitoner) living in NY. I visit often. Sav Junior Sec Produced many like my self and we are proud to one of the original. I want to say to the students of my Prestigious Alma Mater Continue to excel, hold your heads up high, because what the mind can conceive if you want it you can achieve. God Bless. I am a past student from the sav-la-mar secondary school which is now Godfrey Stewart High School.Its getting better now thanks to Mr ferron and his wonderful hard working teachers,to make it one of the best in the west only your best is good enough. keep it up sir,i cant believe thats the school,from 1992 who can remember that look .
