Three stalwarts of the People’s National Party (PNP) Women’s Movement will be honoured at its 35th Annual Conference slated for the Manning’s School come Sunday.
The three hail from Westmoreland, Hanover and St. James respectively .

Themed ‘Celebrating Our Heritage, Honouring Our Women,’ the conference will see Portia SimpsonMiller, the party’s president delivering the keynote address at the 3:00 pm public session.

The conference forms part of the PNP’s 70th anniversary celebrations.

“President Jennifer Edwards chose Westmoreland as the venue for this year’s conference and we are happy to host it,” noted Nezita Delisser, Representative for the Central Westmoreland Constituency PNP Women’s Movement, which began in the 1970s.
