A 23-year-old higgler of Waterworks district, Westmoreland was on Wednesday, April 22, arrested for breaching the Firearms Act after the police found two rounds of ammunition in her possession. Charged with illegal possession of ammunition is Shadona Campbell, otherwise called ‘Duggie’.

Reports from the Constabulary Communication Network CCN’s Laison Officer for Westmoreland are that about 6.45 a.m., the police carried out an operation at Waterworks. During the exercise, a premises occupied by Campbell was searched.

A purse she was carrying was searched and two rounds of ammunition; a 9mm and a .38 were found. She was subsequently arrested and charge and is booked to appear in the Western Regional Gun Court. The Savanna-La-mar CIB is investigating.
